Isn’t it pretty!
You have no idea how hard it is to take a photo of my iPhone 4, with my iPhone 4. Especially when your camera is the iPhone!
Ok i jest. I have a separate camera. I don’t rely on my phone for everything. But let me tell you, the camera is brilliant. And that’s not all. The whole thing is just brilliant…
I’ve been checking the online O2 stock checker everyday (several times a day in-fact), to see when the new phones might get here. Luckily, at 6pm one evening i saw they had some and so i made sure i got up early the next morning. I arrived at 9am on the dot and they were just opening. “Have you got any iPhone 4′s?”, “Yes!” Hurray!
Firstly the screen is amazing. Just amazing. The most crystal clear thing ever! Like i said, the camera is also amazing. 5 megapixels and *my oh my* what an upgrade from the camera on my old iPhone 3G. HD video is great. You’d never believe the video came from a phone at all! I have got iMovie for iPhone but i have yet to really explore that one. It would be nice to be able to do something like the video below sometime in the near future. Maybe this summer so i can shoot it outside.
It really is like getting to love the iPhone all over again. See when iOS 4 came out there were basically *no* features for 3G users at all. I got folders and that was about it. So this one has folders, bluetooth keyboard support (yet to try that one out), multitasking, voice control, front and rear camera’s, HD video, FaceTime (yet to try this – give me a call!), better wifi reception amongst other things and of course: the almighty Apple A4 processor. This thing is lightening quick. And i mean Grease Lightening. So much fun to play games on it in real-time! And to watch HD video downloaded from iTunes, on a perfect display. It really is the best phone ever.
Only problem i’ve had is with O2 as they sent me a duff micro-SIM in the post a few weeks ago. Went to put it in and it didn’t work for 2 days. So i went back into the shop and picked up a replacement. Which decided to start working later that evening, apropo, achieving a fully functioning phone.
If you were hesitant about upgrading for some reason, don’t! Just go for it. You won’t regret it and as far as i can tell, this ‘death-grip’ thing, really isn’t an issue.
Thanks Apple, you’ve done it again 🙂
